Returning Items
If you’re not completely satisfied with any item you purchase from Woodstock Hardware you may return it to us within 30 days from the date of purchase for a refund of its purchase price.
Any items returned after thirty (30) days will be charged a 25% restocking fee.
Any item being returned to Woodstock Hardware must be in unused, like new, 100% saleable condition. All returned items must be in the original manufacturer’s packaging and the packaging like new. The returned item must include all; parts, accessories, packaging, original warranty cards, instructions manuals, and paper work.
If you would like to return or exchange an item in person at our Woodstock Hardware store that you purchased on line the item must be in the same condition as that described above. Also to make sure your return at Woodstock Hardware is smooth and hassle free, please bring your receipt with you to the store.
Woodstock Hardware provides you on both the receipt included inside the package and on the outside of the package.
Woodstock Hardware would also appreciate you including a note with the returned item telling us why you are returning the item. This information will help us improve the quality of the products we offer to our customers.

Refunds
All refunds will be made by crediting the original method of payment. For purchases made using a credit card credit will be issued to the same credit card used to make the original purchase. If your original purchase was made using a gift card or gift certificate Woodstock Hardware will issue your credit in the form of a check.
Unless your order arrives damaged do not refuse the delivery of your order. If you refuse delivery of your order the shipping and handling charges required to return the item to Woodstock Hardware will be deducted from your refund. The initial shipping and handling charges paid by Woodstock Hardware to ship your original order to you that is refused are also non-refundable.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, and non-refundable, unless the item is being returned as a result of our error, is defective, or arrives damaged.
To ensure you credit is processed correctly please do not return an item to Woodstock Hardware without prior approval and a Return Authorization Number (RA#). To receive proper credit please do not send any item back to Woodstock Hardware without prior authorization. To obtain a Return Authorization Number (RA#) and instructions on how to return an item please Contact Us. Please include a copy of the original receipt with your return. Make sure to write the RA#.
Woodstock Hardware will process your refund after your item has been returned to Woodstock Hardware.
When exchanging an item at Woodstock Hardware the following will occur. After the item arrives at Woodstock Hardware you will see a credit to your original payment method for the returned item. The original shipping and handling fees charged to you are non-refundable. You will then see a charge for the new item plus the appropriate shipping and handling charges.
If you return an item to Woodstock Hardware that received free or reduced promotional shipping your refund amount will include the amount you originally paid for the item less what the shipping and handling charge would have been following Woodstock Hardware’s standard, non promotional, shipping policies.
Refuse Delivery – Damage in Shipping
Returns Due To Shipping Errors, Product Defects, and Damaged Products
If you have a return or exchange due to a shipping error, defect, or damage, please contact Woodstock Hardware within 48 hours of receipt. Click here to Contact Us.
If an item is damaged please save the original carton and all of the packing material provided with the item. A credit cannot be issued unless Woodstock Hardware receives the original damaged carton and its’ packaging. Woodstock Hardware requests that you take a photograph of the damaged product in its’ original damaged condition. This photograph will help ensure you receive proper credit in a timely manner.
In cases where an order is lost or you are returning a damaged order you are assigning to Woodstock Hardware any and all claims you have against the carrier for lost or damaged merchandise and are waiving your right to assert a claim against the carrier for such lost or damaged merchandise.
