All best cleaning supplies & equipment for homes inside and out

When Vince bought Woodstock Hardware he thought he would be selling a lot of screwdrivers and hammers and answering questions about routers.  Well, thankfully, he has.  But nowhere nearly as much the cleaning supplies he has sold and the questions he has had to answer about how to clean just about anything.  After all no job is not done right if it is not clean.  And let’s be honest there is usually some kind of cleanup required after every project.

A cleaning project can be as simple as washing the windows.  Or a bit more complicated like dealing with the soot from a furnace blow back.  Or more specialized like cleaning a concrete floor before it is painted, or cleaning moss off an asphalt shingle roof.  And the list just goes on and on.

We are confident you will find the cleaning products and tools you need to tackle just about every kind of cleaning project and challenge.  Including, a complete selection of all natural, “green” eco-friendly products.  You can learn more about “going green” in your home or office from Woodstock Hardware’s Green Home How-To-Tips, and our Going Green In Your Home/Office information.

If you have ever worked on a project around your home, or are a craftsman of any kind, you know all about the importance of cleaning. In many cases, the cleaning portion of the project will be the most important part. And often, shortly after the project is completed, the routine maintenance cleaning begins.

  • In addition to the Cleaning supplies and materials you need Woodstock Hardware can also provide you the technical expertise required to help you successfully complete your next project.  Here are a few tips that might help you with your next project.
  • Use a lint roller to remove debris such as pet hair and cobwebs from your screen doors. Try attaching the lint roller to a pole if the screen door or window is tall or hard to reach.
  • Next time you’re in the bathroom take a look up at your bathroom vents. If they are filled with dirt and debris it’s time for some cleaning ASAP! Use warm soapy water to scrub the vent and a vacuum to suck away dirt inside the container.
  • Let your sink handles sparkle like brand new! Grab a screwdriver, soapy water, and some q-tips to clean all of the dirt and grime from underneath your sink knobs.
  • Remove burnt on food and other messes from your store burners with this simple cleaning hack. Using a cup of ammonia and zip loc bags, allow the burners to soak overnight. In the morning you will have shiny, clean and like-new stove burners!
  • Keep your bathroom and toilet brush smelling lemony fresh by using a few splashes of Pine-Sol in the bottom of the brush container. Not only will it help to deodorize your bathroom, it will also help as a convenient disinfecting cleaner for your toilet brush.
  • Fill a sandwich bag with white vinegar and place your shower head in the solution overnight. In the morning you should have a dirt and grime free shower head.
